RESEARCH & DEFINE
Service-icons-Research-Define.png

Using Design Thinking, I have developed and conceptualized visual ideas and designs for a diverse range of creative projects. The initial phases involve extensive user and market research, detailed segmentation, definition of design drivers, and the creation of mood boards to ensure that the artistic vision aligns with project objectives and defines a clear direction for all team members.

DESIGN THINKING

The non-linear, iterative process of Design Thinking involves a series of cognitive, strategic, and practical procedures. In each area, I use a range of tools and methods to evolve my artistic vision.

RESEARCH

In the initial research phase, conducting user surveys and interviews provides valuable insights. I thoroughly prepare the questions we need to explore, based on the project's objectives and goals. The information gathered is crucial, as it informs and guides the entire design process.

BRAND BRIEF

Whether collaborating with a large corporation or a small start-up, focusing on a Brand Brief offers significant benefits. This structured approach helps to understand or define a brand identity before starting the creative process. I can assist in analyzing and outlining the areas of this essential document, providing a clear framework for design teams to work from, ensuring alignment with the brand’s objectives and vision.

TARGET GROUPS

Understanding the target audience is central to my strategic approach and design development. Utilizing segmentation tools such as ConZoom and crafting detailed Personas are integral parts of my process, ensuring my designs meet the specific needs of the intended users.

DESIGN DRIVERS

After conducting user and market research, the process of crafting Design Drivers for my vision becomes a smooth task and serve as guiding principles in visualizing a design. The examples show Design Drivers for a luxurious Danish jewellery brand visualised in the moodboard below.

MOODBOARDS

Inspired by my chosen Design Drivers, I create Moodboards, utilizing them to articulate my aesthetic direction. Using a collage-style approach, I craft a cohesive visual that encapsulate the desired style and mood, providing a clear visual reference throughout the process.
