FROM SKETCH TO VECTOR

Illustration is a key component of my portfolio. From initial sketches and conceptual drafts to coloured compositions, finalised logos and vector creations, my versatility in illustration is wide-ranging. I utilise illustration to explore ideas and gather feedback from users, and fuel my Design Thinking process for graphic design and jewellery projects alike

SKETCHING

Hand-drawn sketches are invaluable for swiftly conveying or testing ideas. Ensuring clarity and visual appeal is crucial for effective communication, so I often enhance my sketches in Photoshop, employing collage techniques and adding details like textures and materials.

COLOURING SKETCHES

I use various colour methods and especially enjoy digitally colouring my hand sketches in Photoshop, preserving their organic feel while refining ideas. I have found that this kind of illustration makes a great test material before finalising.

VECTOR ILLUSTRTIONS

Vector graphics offer a clean, precise aesthetic characterized by straight, uniform lines. I frequently use vectors for crafting icons, infographics, logos, and illustrations requiring clear communication in my graphic design.

LOGO DESIGN

Crafting a compelling logo is more than graphic design—it's about distilling a brand's essence into a single, memorable mark. I blend creativity with strategy to create logos that resonate with both target audiences and brand identity. Whether it's a minimalist wordmark or a sophisticated emblem, I create timeless logos with a lasting impression.

COLLAGES

Crafting collages is an art form that requires both creativity and technical skill. Using Photoshop, I blend various images like photography, illustration, and digital art, to create interesting compositions that engage viewers or tell a story depending on what it should be used for.

3D ILLUSTRATIONS

Crafting 3D illustrations open up a world of creativity and possibilities. Using RhinoCeros, I blend precision with flexibility to breathe life into intricate patterns and complex geometries. Whether I'm designing a product or creating graphics, 3D can produce highly realistic visuals, enriching the visual experience.

TRADITIONAL PAINTING

Embracing acrylic or oil paints is a journey of expression, infusing depth, texture, and emotion, connecting with my subjects on a visceral level. In a time of AI and new technology traditional painting becomes a testament to the beauty of the human touch, preserving moments in time with a sense of authenticity and soul.
